Shipping policy

Every Sardine Social product is printed especially for your order. This helps us avoid overproduction and unnecessary inventory, but it also means that your order requires a short production period before it is shipped.

Order Processing and Production

Most orders are produced within approximately 2–5 business days.

During busy periods, product launches, holidays or unexpected production delays, processing may take longer. Business days do not include weekends or public holidays.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information when tracking is available.

Estimated Delivery

Delivery time consists of:

Production time + shipping time

Estimated delivery dates are displayed during checkout where available. Delivery times depend on the destination, product type, fulfillment location and shipping method.

As a general guide:

  • Denmark and EU: approximately 5–15 business days after dispatch
  • United Kingdom: approximately 5–15 business days after dispatch
  • United States: approximately 3–8 business days after dispatch
  • Other international destinations: approximately 5–20 business days after dispatch

These delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Customs processing, local postal services, weather conditions and other circumstances outside our control may cause delays.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment. The cost depends on your delivery address, the products ordered and the available shipping method.

Separate Shipments

Products may be produced at different fulfillment locations. As a result, items from the same order may occasionally arrive in separate packages and on different days.

You will not be charged additional shipping after completing your order unless reshipping is required because of an incorrect or incomplete address, an unclaimed package or another issue caused by information supplied with the order.

Tracking

Where tracking is available, you will receive a tracking link by email once your order has shipped.

Tracking information may take up to 48 hours to update after the shipping confirmation is sent.

Some international shipping services only provide limited tracking.

Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Please review your delivery address carefully before placing your order.

Sardine Social is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer.

Contact us immediately at hello@sardinesocial.com if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered production.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or because it was not collected, the customer may be responsible for the cost of reshipping it.

Delayed or Lost Packages

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery period, please:

  1. Check the tracking information
  2. Contact the carrier where possible
  3. Check with neighbours, household members or the local collection point
  4. Contact us at hello@sardinesocial.com

Please contact us no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date if you believe your package has been lost.

We will investigate the shipment and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.

Customs, Duties and Import Taxes

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, customs fees or local taxes.

Unless these charges are specifically shown as included during checkout, they are the responsibility of the recipient. Sardine Social cannot control or predict charges imposed by local customs authorities.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the products ordered can legally be imported into the destination country.

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please photograph both the packaging and the product before discarding anything.
